Important Changes to The Rotary Foundation

In preparation for the next century of service, The Foundation has updated its mission and created a more effective and efficient way to help develoop diverse projects with greater impact and sustainable outcomes.
FUTURE VISION PLAN
20% of RI Districts will be selected to participate in a three year pilot of the TRF Future Vision Plan. May 15, 2009 is the application deadline. The three-year pilot will begin on July 1,2010. For more information visit: (www.rotary.org/futurevision)
TRF RECOGNITION PROGRAM CHANGES as of 7/1/09
- Foundation recognition points and recognition amounts will only be transferred for transactions of 500 points.
- The individual donor will be the only person authorized to transfer Foundation recognition points.
- Paul Harris Fellow Medallions will not be provided automatically but will be available for purchase
- Foundation recognition points will expire upon the death of the donor or the death of the surviving spouse of a Major Donor (US$10,000)
- New wearable recognition will be issued to Arch C. Klumph Society members.
