Assistant Criminal District Attorney Lindy Borchardt is responsible for human trafficking cases including both labor and sex trafficking for the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. As Assistant Chief of the Special Victim’s Unit, Lindy aggressively and passionately prosecutes labor and sex traffickers. She works closely with law enforcement and non-profit organizations to help protect victims and seek justice on their behalf. She also serves as the Legislative Liaison for the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office where she works closely with State legislators to promote sound criminal justice policies and laws. Lindy has been a dedicated prosecutor for nearly 30 years and has achieved landmark results, both as a trial and appellate lawyer for victims of sexual abuse.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas.  She is married and a mother of two.
