Rotary Institute for Zones 21b & 27

The Rotary Institute for Zones 21b & 27 was held Oct 1-4 in Oklahoma City and was led by Rotary Director Phil Silvers.
The institute included many great speakers with messages on humanitarian programs and case studies on leadership and ethics.

Highlights of the event included the opportunity to hear and visit with RI President Elect Ray Klinginsmith and Rotary Foundation Trustee Ashok Mulkraj Mahajan.
Dr. Raymond Bruce Aylward, Director , Global Polio Eradication for the World Health Organization spoke on the critical need to stay focused and have no tolerance for losing the fight to eradicate this crippling disease now that we are so close to winning.
The audience of 300 was primarily made up of DGs and PDGs. Our governor John Miller and eight PDGs from our district attended the Institute where J. Paul Lucas was presented to the zone as the Governor Elect for District 5790. Just prior to the Institute, Paul completed a training session for the District Governor Elects.
